Knitwitches website will be closed fromSaturday 5th July to Sunday 13th July

Two very tired people(me and  himself) are heading to the Swiss Lakes for a desperatley needed holiday and a complete chill out and possibly( ok  definatley then) some Swiss chocolate. There will be all new stock on the website when it re-opens, on monday 14th July.

From September (hopefully) the website will have a whole new look and loads more pages, as my lovely web designer is upgrading the website for me and says that he should get it done by then.

The cashmere/silk that Clara Parkes raved about in the Knitters Review in Jan.Yummy off the scale, one of my friends described it as Yarngasmic!!!.I don't have the words to describe just how amazing this yarn is. I have a small amount of this left from Wonderwool, please contact me directly if you would like to get you hands on this meltingly soft yarn.

*Silk/Baby camel  sooo very, very lovely to knit with

*Silk/kid mohair, Oooh yummy (sorry running out of superlatives here)1 strand of silk wrapped around with one very fine strand of kid mohair DK weight.

*The new 2 ply lace weight silk 600metres per 100gms, class in a skein.

*And last but not least Orenburg Lace Yarn, hand spun by women in the Carpathian mountains of the Ukraine . A must for lace knitters, this amazingly fine lace yarn, 80%kid/20%silk.
