This is such a beautiful yarn to knit with, single it makes the most gorgeous lace, sooooo soft, knitted as 2 strands together it will give you a fingering weight yarn that knits very well and can be substitited for just below a double knitting weight using 4mm or 4.5mm needles.  This yarn has 930metres per 100gms, for me this is as good as it gets for pure cashmere. One 100gm skein will make a 72inch (2 metre) wrap 2 skeins a shawl, or several scarves or whatever takes your fancy. Perfect for lace knitting, or used double for a sweater or cardigan.

I like to knit lace on bigger needles for a more openwork effect and would use 4mm needles for lace knitting, but like anything it's all a matter of personal choice. I am very happy to dye the amount you need to order so that you have the same colourway throughout any big project such as a shawl.
