Cashmere, that most lovely of fibres , soft,light, delicate and sooo warm. This is a heavy laceweight cashmere of the highest quality. A 3 ply yarn approx. 930m per 100gms. One skein is usually enough for a fairly large lace shawl. Knitted as 2 strands together you get close to a double knitting weight yarn.A truly gorgeous yarn, that seems to get softer with each washing.
Very often you will see weights in excess of 100gms. This is because the yarns come into me on cones, and often there is more than 100gms left on the cone after winding. I make these up into larger than 100gm skeins. All of these larger skeins are priced accordng to weight.The price for all cashmeres is based on £20.00 per 100gms.

I only sell the highest quality of cashmere, usually a heavy laceweight, but from time to time I have other and thicker cashmere yarns.
