Swiss Spun Cashmere and Silk Laceweight 1000m per 100gms

Clara Parkes of Knitters Review describes knitting with this yarn as "Time standing still". I would describe it as simply the most stunningly lovely yarn I have ever knitted with. With 65% cashmere/35% silk. An absolute sensuous delight to knit with. Cashmere mega soft with the sheen and drape of silk, the yarn has a very slight halo when knitted due to the cashmere. Perfect for shawls, in fact this goes way beyond perfect, it's out in some wonderful magic land. Am I wurbling? I sincerely hope so. Spun in Switzerland with more than a touch of magic. One of my greatest pleasures at yarn shows is watching knitters absent mindedly put their hands into the basket of this yarn for the first time, and then melt into a little drooling pile. Just fab. I'm currently knitting a wedding shawl in this yarn, and keep stopping to stroke it. I have seen this knitted and beaded as a wedding shawl and it took my breath away.
